Meagan values the healing power of creativity, dance, movement and play to support a healthy development of the whole self.
Working through a lens of neuroscience, Meagan has a holistic understanding of the mind body connection, somatics, movement processes and dance as an ancient healing art form. With a background in dance and social cultural anthropology, she studies traditional movement knowledges, in particular West African dance and rhythms which enrich her therapy process.
Meagan’s experience includes children’s early intervention, adult mental health, parent & infant mental health, birth trauma, selective mutism, ASD, PTSD, complex trauma, neurological conditions and adults affected by domestic violence and childhood trauma.
The premise of the mind body unity is that change and growth in one supports change and growth in the other.
Offering a warm approach and safely held space, Meagan supports her clients to foster an embodied sense of emotional regulation, cognition, self-expression, communication and harmonious ways of being in relationship.
